Definitely! We can accommodate riders of all levels. Our itineraries are geared more towards experienced and adventurous riders, but they can be easily adjusted in terms of pace and intensity. Whether you want to race in the desert or take it slow, it’s up to you!
Yes! If there are different riding abilities within your group, we will use multiple guides on your rides who can cater to the experienced and less-experienced riders individually, so everyone has the best trip possible.
Non-riders are more than welcome to join us on our holidays. There is no lack of other activities and sightseeing here in Egypt for them to enjoy while you are riding, and we will arrange it all for them!
We can offer custom tours of any length over dates of your choosing. You are also welcome to join for just a portion of a scheduled tour. So if you don’t see dates on our calendar that work for you, please get in touch!
In most cases, yes. Citizens of the US, Australia, and Europe will require a visa to enter Egypt. Visas cost $25 and can be obtained upon arrival or ahead of time online (via the official Egypt evisa portal).
The national currency is the Egyptian Pound (LE). However, tips can be accepted in most currencies including Egyptian Pounds, USD, Euros, or British Pounds. Egypt is mostly cash-based, but major credit cards are accepted at airports and some shops.
Egypt’s cuisine has something for everyone! If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, don’t worry – we can easily cater to any diet. In fact, it’s a vegetarian’s paradise, and many of the most famous dishes are meatless: falafel, ful medames, and kosheri. Meat lovers will enjoy the fresh beef, chicken, and fish, usually served with rice. Not to mention, Egyptians have a huge sweet tooth, so there are plenty of tantalizing desserts, pastries, and fresh juices. (Ever had sugar cane juice?) You’ll be treated to a combination of homecooked meals and eating out at our favorite hand-picked restaurants.
