Horseback Riding in Luxor for All Levels
Our day rides begin in the scenic farmland around the Nile River. You can observe the traditional agricultural way of life and encounter water buffalo, donkeys, goats, and other animals along the narrow dirt trails. Follow the canals, trot among palm trees, and canter along vast fields of banana and sugar cane. Pass through rural villages and get a glimpse of daily local life. Ride by ancient temples and get up close to incredible history from the saddle. As you ride further away from the villages, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy all paces. Take advantage of the unobstructed open space with exhilarating gallops in the desert. Venture all the way to the mountains where you can get stunning views of the vast desert landscape and Luxor from a distance.
We encourage you to book at least one day in advance if possible, but we can usually accommodate walk-ups. If you are looking for a last-minute ride, please don’t hesitate to message us on WhatsApp. Or, if you just want to drop by to see the stable and say hello to the horses, you are more than welcome!

1 Hour Ride
Ride along the historic Nile River and through the quaint village streets of Ramlah for a unique sightseeing experience.

2 Hour Ride
Venture from the Nile River into the scenic farmland of Luxor’s west bank. If you’re up for it, enjoy a long canter or gallop through the sugarcane fields!

3 Hour Ride
Ride past ancient temples, through lush fields, and into the desert for amazing views. Make it a sunrise departure to see the hot air balloons!

Visit two incredible historical sites by horseback: Ramesseum and Medinet Habu Temple. Stop for private guided tours at each site as the horses rest nearby. On the way to and from the temples, enjoy scenic riding through farmland and rural villages.

An extensive ride that takes you to explore all around the magnificent west bank of Luxor. Ride from the Nile River all the way to the desert and Mount Thebes, experiencing both modern and ancient culture along the way as you pass rural villages and historic sites. A full-day riding adventure with some history in the mix! Experience the best of Luxor from horseback, from the beautiful countryside and vast desert to the remarkable historical sites. Includes stops for private guided tours at Ramesseum and Medinet Habu Temple and a traditional Egyptian lunch.

Swim with the Horses
This is an experience you’ll never forget: going for a swim in the Nile River on horseback! A fun and unique way to cool off in the warm summer months. Enjoy a short bareback ride (approx. 10 minutes) to and from the stable.
Riding Time: Approx. 1.5 hours
Price: $35 per person
Starting Times (May – August Only):
- Morning (10:00am – 12:00pm)
- Afternoon (12:00pm – 5:00pm)
Preparing for your Ride
- Recommended Attire: Long pants (jeans or leggings) and closed-toed shoes (sneakers or narrow boots with a low heel).
- Other gear: Helmets are available at the stable for you to borrow and are strongly encouraged. Saddle bags are also available for carrying personal items such as cameras, jackets, and water bottles.
- Pickup/Dropoff: The price for pickup and/or dropoff depends on the location. If you would like this service, please let us know in the form below and we will get back to you with the price.
- Payment: Cash payment only please (EGP, USD, EUR, GBP).
